My Role

Designed end to end experience that included defining product needs, target users, top user scenarios, flows, interaction detail and final visual design.

Background

It was a design exercise I did on the side.

Problem Statements

The way people dress could be considered as one component of social identities nowadays. Deciding what to wear becomes a time consuming daily routine for some people. For women, they can spend nearly one year deciding what to wear. Some of the most successful men decide to wear same thing every day to save the energy of thinking about what to wear.

Goals

Design a solution that streamlines the process of planning what to wear and transforms what used to be a chore into something more enjoyable.

Top User Scenarios

  1. Create and plan looks ahead
Users can create different looks on their own or seek for styling suggestions. User should be able to plan their look anytime ahead for different occasions or needs.

  2. Manage and organize items
Users can add and remove items to their virtual closets and allow them to organize items based on categories, colors, seasonality or brands, etc.

  3. Recommend similar items
Based on the items from the existing closet, users should be able to explore and purchase other similar items.
